Police Escort Bali is an escort-coordination and protocol desk based in Bali. We prepare and submit police escort applications to the competent traffic-police authority, and we run the civilian side of the movement end to end: chauffeured vehicles, route survey, timing, and on-ground liaison. The escort itself is a police function, granted by the authority after permission.
There is a difference between performing an escort and arranging one, and we are precise about which side of that line we stand on.
An escort on an Indonesian public road is carried out by traffic-police personnel under police authority. It cannot be bought as a commodity, and no private company can command it. What can be done — lawfully, professionally, and with a great deal of craft — is the work that surrounds it: assessing whether a movement fits the statutory grounds, assembling and submitting the application to the right office at the right level, holding the vehicles and drivers ready, surveying the route, building a timing plan that survives contact with Bali traffic, and standing at the pickup point when the principal arrives.
That is our work, and it is the whole reason the movement lands on time.
Indonesian road-priority rules are set out in Law No. 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Road Transport.
Article 134 lists, in order, the road users entitled to priority: fire-service vehicles on duty; ambulances carrying the sick; vehicles rendering assistance at a traffic accident; vehicles of the leaders of Indonesian state institutions; vehicles of foreign leaders and officials and of international institutions who are guests of the state; funeral processions; and convoys or vehicles for particular interests according to the assessment of Indonesian National Police officers.
Article 135 provides that this priority is exercised after permission is obtained from the Police, and that priority vehicles use sirens and/or rotator lamps in accordance with the type of priority and the police permit.
Escort operations themselves are conducted by specially assigned traffic-police personnel under Regulation of the Chief of the Indonesian National Police No. 10 of 2012 on traffic management in particular conditions and escorting.
Two consequences follow, and we state them on every page where we quote a rate:
Where an escort is not granted, the movement does not collapse. We continue with the lawful options that remain ours to deliver: private-security accompaniment under the licensed private-security framework, an advance vehicle running the route ahead of the principal, and a timing plan built around the actual traffic windows rather than around hope.
We are asked for the same thing by very different people, and the thing is always time.
A site inspection in Tabanan, a groundbreaking in Nusa Dua, a signing at 10:00 in Denpasar with an afternoon flight out. The itinerary is the deal; if the itinerary slips, the day is rebuilt around an apology.
Movements that carry protocol obligations, where the convoy order, the arrival sequence and the handover at the venue matter as much as the drive itself. Article 134 places the vehicles of foreign officials who are guests of the state within the priority order.
Discretion first. Unmarked vehicles, an advance team, no attention drawn at either end.
A procession that has to arrive together, on the minute, with the family in the right cars in the right order.
Hospital to hospital, or hospital to Ngurah Rai for a medevac connection — the one category where the statute itself places ambulances near the top of the priority order.
Alphard-class vehicles with professional drivers, taken with an escort or on their own.
Bali’s constraint has never been distance. Ngurah Rai to Nusa Dua is about twelve kilometres. In the late-afternoon window that same twelve kilometres can absorb far longer than the map suggests, and the Sunset Road and Ngurah Rai bypass corridors do not improve because a guest is important.
So the product is not a motorcycle with a light on it. The product is a movement that begins and ends at the stated minute, with the security and the protocol that a principal’s schedule requires. Every element we control — the application filed early enough to be assessed properly, the driver briefed on the alternate, the advance car already sitting at the venue — exists to protect that one number.
Police Escort Bali operates within Juara Holding Group, an Indonesian group active in travel, transport and destination services since 2015. That matters in a practical way: the chauffeured fleet, the airport handling and the destination logistics behind a movement are group capabilities rather than subcontracts arranged on the day.
We will not tell you that a police escort is guaranteed, because it is not ours to guarantee. We will not publish a rate we cannot honour, and we will not quote a figure that changes once you are in the car. And we will not describe ourselves as police, because we are not — we are the desk that gets the application in front of them, correctly and early, and that runs everything else to the minute.
